“ Its been quite a while since I visited Roti, and it won't take as long to come back. Everything was great on this lunch visit. We had Chicken Tikka Masala, composed of boneless chicken tikka smothered in a tomato and cream base sauce with butter and mild spices. It was accompanied with basmati white rice and a cucumber and tomatoe salad. We also had Jheenga Palak with jumbo prawns cooked with spinach, fenugreek and spices. It came with naan and the same salad. Service was great. ”
“ The service is excellent, and the food offers a unique mix of spices and flavors. It's also a great spot for a dinner party, especially with wine available on the menu. That said, for everyday Indian/Pakistani food, whether dining in or taking out, Pakwan on 16th and Guerrero remains my go-to choice. ”
“ This restaurant has consistently served really good North Indian food. The menu is great, the food is fresh, flavorful and never overly spicy. Many Indian restaurant dishes are heavily flavored with garam masala but Roti has a good balance. The servers are always friendly. The decor and ambiance is relaxing and elegant. This is one of my regular favorites. ”
“ Tamarind chutney was jammy, paired beautifully with onion pakoras. Navrattan korma delighted my hubby as he tends to always order veggie dishes. As for me, I was captivated with the spicy, homestyle goat curry which is hard to find in most restaurants that fits my bill. However, the star of the night was the tamarind old fashion served with the classy large ice cube. The owner graced our table and we had a nice chat about his culinary journey. I would return to savor other offerings on my next visit to the city. Four stars due to the first moments of arrival and awkwardness with the hostess, however the co owner quickly corrected the oversight. All in all a great experience! ”
“ We always love their food in the restaurant and delivery! Great variety of dishes, friendly staff, and super delicious! ”
“ Walked in for dinner for a table of 2 and was able to be seated immediately. We ordered the chicken korma curry, garlic and basil naan, butternut squash soup, and lamb samosas. Everything was amazing!!! The chicken korma curry was recommended by the waiter and it did not disappoint. We also made it spicy and that was such a good decision cause it added more depth to the dish. The naan was also just amazing. We had to order another one because of how good everything was. I loved this place so much and so happy we decided to try it. Would definitely come back again, especially for the chicken korma curry and garlic basil naan. ”
“ Came here with my friend who's from west portal and has been going here since he was very young (he's 20 now)! The owner immediately recognized him and greeted him which I was thought was super sweet. The service was great and the inside ambiance was calming and nice. It definitely seems like a family staple with customers who look like they've consistently been there. The food was so good. The chicken tiki masala was very good with amazing flavor paired with the saffron rice that was fluffy and flavorful. The naan was flaky and buttery + we tried one of the cauliflower vegetable curries that was also great! The only thing that threw me off about that dish was the pineapple which I wasn't a huge fan of. Overall great experience and will come back for sure. ”
“ Came here for Sunday lunch. Place was only about 30% full. We made reservations but didn't need it at the time. We were greeted with a smile and serviced immediately. We did have to ask for anything because the server was quite attentive. Please was clean, well decorated and welcoming. Food was very good but not great. Everything was tasty and d we have no complaints. Was hungry and in a rush to eat and I forget to take individual pictures of each dish. Darn. I hate that when it happens. Enjoyed the experience and will return. We do recommend. ”
“ This is my second time dining in and still recommend and still not disappointed. Initially was concerned about pricing and thought it seem high but once we tasted the chicken biryani (which is how I usually judge my Indian restaurants) it made sense to me. The spices are fresh and you can taste the freshness. The biryani tasted like this fancy place that is been to about 20 years ago in Mumbai where the quality of the food mattered. What we were served and ate this evening wasn't just like a generic Indian restaurant. Service was the same as the last time I visited, warm and courteous. There wasn't space available and we didn't have a reservation but we were accomodated on the patio when we asked. It doesn't have a heater but we were dressed warm and the parklet enclosure didn't allow any wind in. TLDR Will come back. It was worth it. ”
